Problem space is platform-independent, and technology-agnostic whereas Solution domain is platform-dependent and technology-specific for its implementation. Business analyst's focus area is the problem space- identifying, prioritising, specifying and communicating the problems. They also facilitate the teams in creating the solutions for the prioritised problem(s).
